'Crising' downgraded to low-pressure area: PAGASA

"Crising" has been downgraded from a tropical depression to a low-pressure area as it made landfall in Samar, PAGASA announced on Saturday night.

With that, the weather bureau, which posted the announcement on Facebook, lifted all tropical cyclone warning signals.

Light to moderate rains are still expected over Visayas, as well as Bicol and Caraga.

The low-pressure area was estimated to be in the vicinity of Basey town, Samar, at about 8 p.m.
