MANILA- About 100 passengers were left stranded on Monday morning after a heavy downpour caused flooding in parts of Cebu.

Passengers waited for about 2 hours for public utility vehicles along A. Soriano, Cebu City.

The city's transportation office said they diverted the jeeps due to some flooded streets.

Flooding also caused heavy traffic in Barangay Tipolo, Mandaue City. Other vehicles avoided flooded areas prompting them to take alternative routes.
