A 26-year-old man was found dead inside a private car at a subdivision in Iloilo City on Wednesday.

Billy Joy Rupite seemed to be asleep inside the car when his body was discovered by other helpers.

The family's caretaker Jimmy Harolacan said he went to wake-up Rupite because he was supposed to bring the children of his employer to school.

Other helpers destroyed the window of the car to check Rupite's condition.

A doctor who lived in the same subdivision checked Rupite and declared him dead. The caretaker said Rupite drank liquor before going to sleep.

Investigators of Jaro PNP saw no signs of foul play. They believe the man died due to either suffocation or sudden death syndrome.

Rupite has been serving as family driver for 3 years. His body will undergo autopsy to determine the cause of his death.
