Najiya Dilangalen Karon Maute was nabbed based on Arrest Order No. 2 issued by the Department of National Defense last June 5, 2017.

According to officers of the Philippine National Police Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (PNP CIDG) in the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM), Najiya was the wife of Mohammad Ayam Romato Maute, a member of the Maute terror group who died in the Marawi siege.
