"There is no way to book passport renewal from January-March in all your satellite offices in the whole country, Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao? Seriously?

"[T]here are 'accredited' travel agencies that are charging P4,500 for a confirmed appointment and the full passport renewal services...Bravo DFA for allowing your syndicate to sell these slots to agencies," hinaing ni Tioseco.

"Do not patronize those so-called travel agencies kasi tinanggal na ang facilities na they had before, inalis na. So they have no more facility to lodge applications...binigay natin sa mga OFWs," ani DFA Assistant Secretary Frank Cimafranca.

"Sa ngayon kasi the demand is so huge, we can hardly cope...that's why we are trying to address this by trying to increase our capacity," ani Cimafranca.
