MANILA - The public's satisfaction with the performance of the Aquino administration dropped in the first quarter of 2016, according to the the latest Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey.

The survey, conducted from March 30 to April 2, 2016, showed a drop in the net satisfaction rating of the Aquino administration from +39 in December 2015, to +35 in April 2016.

SWS used face-to-face interviews of 1,500 adults nationwide, with 300 each from Metro Manila, North Luzon, South Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. The survey has an error margin of ±3% for national percentages, and ±6% each for Metro Manila, North Luzon, South Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.

The Aquino administration's net satisfaction rating in Metro Manila dropped from +36 to +17, from +35 to +30 in Luzon and from +36 to +33 in Mindanao. It went up from +52 to +58 in Visayas.
