MANILA - Hackers on Monday defaced the website of the Public Information Agency (PIA), releasing bogus news stories about presidential bet Mar Roxas, Vice President Jejomar Binay and businesswoman Janet Lim-Napoles.

The state-run website featured an article deceptively claiming that Roxas has abandoned his presidential bid to focus on his wife Korina Sanchez.
