BAGUIO CITY - Roberto Acosta, a retired fine arts professor from the University of the Philippines Baguio, makes his way around the city using his bamboo bicycle.

Acosta said, “Maganda kasi ang bamboo, very organic siya, eco friendly, kahit saan mayroon kang mahahanap na kawayan.”

Acosta also promotes the use of the bicycle to combat air pollution.“Sa bisikleta kasi, walang gasolina, walang usok na nilalabas at saka mas malaya ka ‘pag nagbibisikleta ka," he explained.
