MANILA - Actress Ruffa Gutierrez is set to launch her own book under ABS-CBN Publishing Inc.

In a press conference on Thursday for her endorsement, Cosmo Skin, Gutierrez said her book will feature not only her life story, but also tips on style and fashion.

"Mine will also contain fashion tips and it's going to be light and more girly," she said.

Gutierrez is following in the footsteps of her mother, feisty talent manager Annabelle Rama, who launched her own book last year.

"Iyong kay mommy kasi more on advice ng nanay sa isang teenager o nagdadalaga, or 'yung mga bobita in love. So, 'yung sa akin naman ay giving advice to people my age," Gutierrez explained.

The actress went on to share that Rama gave her some tips about the content of her book.

"Sabi ni Mommy, 'Naku, 'Day, huwag mo nang pag-usapan ang mga ex mo sa darating mong libro, walang bibili niyan, kadiri.' Sabi ko, 'Ma, iba ang story ng libro ko, it's about my life and it's about love,'" she explained.

Gutierrez said her still-untitled book will be launched within the year.
