MANILA – Maxine Medina is ready to walk on the Miss Universe stage.

The Philippine representative to the international pageant is seen practicing her walk in a video posted by her mentor, Jonas Gaffud, on Wednesday.

The music played during the Miss Universe pageant can be heard playing in the background.

“Isn’t she lovely, pretty, captivating? The girl who’ll surely win your hearts,” Gaffud wrote.

Medina is hoping to replicate the success of her predecessor in Binibining Pilipinas, reigning Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach.

The next edition of Miss Universe will be held on January 30 at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.
