A fascinating collection showcasing the country's rich flora and fauna will go on display in the first museum in the Philippines dedicated to natural history.

The museum is hosted inside the former Department of Tourism building within Rizal Park in Manila. It includes more than 10 galleries on plants, animals, and fungi unique to the country.

There's also a replica of Lolong, the longest crocodile held in captivity, a hall meant to show how scientists preserve specimens, and a huge DNA helix-shaped elevator called the "Tree of Life."
