MANILA – KC Concepcion has collaborated with the local cosmetics brand Happy Skin to come up with a nail polish line.

The limited edition Happy Skin x KC Express Gel Polish collection features two colors – the deep cherry-hued Power, and the apricot-toned Beauty.

Concepcion revealed that her nail polish collection is inspired by her favorite flower, the rose.

She also used the rose in her designs for her debut jewelry line, Avec Moi by Kristina.

“I’ve shared with you my fascination with the rose and how it symbolizes to me what a woman is about – someone who is both complex but beautiful, delicate but intriguing. That said, I’ve been so inspired to create beautiful things with these qualities and I’ve come up with something new,” Concepcion said in an Instagram post.

The Happy Skin x KC Express Gel Polish collection is described as “vegan, quick-drying, 10-free, and made in Korea.”

In another post on Instagram, Concepcion explained what “10-free” means: “[It’s] free of 10 harmful chemicals usually found in nail polish.”
