MANILA – Those who have stayed at a Seda hotel are probably familiar with Misto, the chain’s all-day dining buffet restaurant.

Named after the Italian word for “mixed,” Misto presents an array of international dishes and local favorites at competitive prices. The restaurant’s biggest space yet is located at the new Seda Vertis North in Quezon City, just beside TriNoma mall.

Seda Vertis North’s Misto is a long row of live cooking stations offering meat, seafood, vegetables, and starches prepared in different ways – from Chinese, Japanese and Filipino to Italian and American.

Chefs stationed in each area did a great job in serving quick, tasty and familiar dishes, which are what Filipino diners usually look for. No frills, no fancy ingredients, just good quality food.

A must-try here is the sisig, which has a dedicated live cooking station. Diners can choose a sisig base (pork, tofu or seafood), and can request for a specific crispiness and spice level. Each plate of sisig is prepared fresh before your eyes, and is as delicious as it looks.

Guests are spoiled for choice here when it comes to dessert. Seda Vertis North’s Misto offers cake, brownies, cookies, doughnuts, crepes, ice cream, and other local favorites like haluhalo. Don’t miss the colorful waffle cones with sprinkles, nuts, and chocolate.

The dishes here are changed regularly so the hotel’s long-term guests will always have something to look forward to. Aside from families on a staycation, Seda Vertis North has been getting a steady stream of expats and businessmen.

Aside from Misto, Seda Vertis North will also open two other food and beverage establishments – a still unnamed Chinese restaurant and a rooftop bar called Straight Up.
