MACO, Compostela Valley – Two thousand colorful umbrellas decoratively hung over a street in Barangay Elizalde is a picture perfect spot for locals and tourists.

The Instagrammable spot aims to not only boost tourism but also help in the rehabilitation of the Quasi Parish.

Residents pitched in for the project by purchasing an umbrella for P250.

Town officials will do the same in other streets if the Elizalde village display succeeds, said tourism staff Gilbert Toribio.
