Visitors can appreciate the peculiar mushroom-like shape of these islands made by the eroding effect of the waves of sea water, as the clusters of islands were believed to have been part of the bottom of a deeper ocean that had been exposed through time because of movements on the continent.

One popular way of getting to see the sights is to go island-hopping. Visitors hire a boat for the day and make their way through channels and openings between islands to look for a good spot to swim in a cove provided by the islands. You can swim, snorkel, ride zip lines and hop to another island. Some bigger islands have small rest houses that can be rented to visitors.
