Here's a fun photo: Isabelle Daza dressed as her mother Gloria Diaz back when she won the country's first Miss Universe title in 1969.

Complete with her own replica of the Miss Universe crown and sash, Daza proved that good looks run in the family as she takes after her famous mother. The actress wrote as the caption: "When your mom is iconic enough to be a costume."

Diaz is one of only 3 Pinays so far to win the coveted title, with the other 2 being Margie Moran (1973) and Pia Wurtzbach (2015).

Diaz recently made headlines over her controversial interview about the chances of the Philippines' Maxine Medina to take home the crown and make it back-to-back wins for the pageant-crazed nation.

Diaz explained that her "one in a million" comment did not imply that Medina does not deserve the crown, saying it has a lot to do with the fact that she is the host delegate.

"We're the host. Parang can you imagine if we make our representative win? Eh 'di magwawala lahat ng candidates and also their countries, their ambassadors? And they would all think that we are unfair," she said.

Daza is Diaz's daughter with the late Bong Daza.
