MANILA (UPDATED AS OF 10:30 PM) - PDP-Laban standard-bearer Rodrigo Duterte is leading the presidential race by more than 4 million votes, according to partial and unofficial results of the 2016 national elections Monday.

As of 10:20 p.m., May 9, 2016, Duterte was leading among the five presidential candidates with 12,262,832 votes.

The results are sourced from the Commission on Elections (Comelec) Transparency Server.

The numbers so far reflect 60.98% of over 54 million registered voters in the country.

Duterte is followed by Liberal Party (LP) standard-bearer Mar Roxas who got 7,023,974 votes, according to the latest tally.

Independent Senator Grace Poe placed third with 6,945,611 votes, , followed by United Nationalist Alliance (UNA) candidate Vice President Jejomar Binay with 4,146,098 votes.

Senator Miriam Defensor Santiago got 1,220,379 votes while former ambassador Roy Señeres, who died three months before the polls, had 17,943 votes.

In an interview with "TV Patrol," Duterte said he still does not consider himself as a winner until the final results come in.

"At the end of the day, ang expectation ko would be to focus on the final count and the last ballot counted. Aside from that, wala akong ano... Hindi ako nakikinig hanggang hindi tapos," Duterte said.

"I am not there until I'm there. So tulog lang ako," he added.

Malacañang, for its part, said it is still inappropriate at this time to comment on the lead of Duterte.

"Inappropriate at this point to preempt candidates themselves," Communications Secretary Sonny Coloma said. "Best to await Comelec assessment, they have real time data from the field."

In the vice-presidential race, Senator Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos was leading with 11,161,277 votes, followed by Roxas' running mate, Camarines Sur Rep. Leni Robredo, with 10,449,130 votes.

"I am feeling that by all indications we should be successful today. We will continue to monitor and closely watch the developments," Marcos said in a statement.

Senator Alan Peter Cayetano, the running mate of Duterte, is third with 4,321,973 votes. Senator Francis "Chiz" Escudero, running-mate of Senator Poe, got 3,638,033 votes.

Senator Antonio Trillanes IV got 621,995 votes while Senator Gringo Honasan got 544,516 votes.
