CEBU - Presidential candidates present at the second leg of the PiliPinas Debates made light of the situation as the debate, which was originally scheduled at 5 p.m., got delayed for more than an hour.

As of 5:50 p.m., three candidates have shown up on stage: Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte, Senator Grace Poe and former Interior Secretary Mar Roxas. Vice President Jejomar Binay was noticeably absent despite being on the debate grounds earlier.

According to a Twitter statement from TV5, the host of the second leg of the PiliPinas Debates, they are waiting for Binay to come up to the stage before they can start the debates.

Noticing that the crowd had gotten bored due to the delay, Poe told Duterte, "Mag-joke na lang tayo muna sir! "

Meanwhile, Duterte asked Roxas, "Mar, pag-usapan natin siya," referring to the candidate who was not yet on stage.

Roxas tried to make light of the situation and asked for a toilet break. "Sino ba floor director dito? Magtoilet break muna ako,"

To which, Duterte replied: "Pangatlong ihi mo na yan, Mar!" -- with report from Annie Perez, ABS-CBN News
