DAVAO CITY – Presumptive president Rodrigo Duterte's feisty daughter Sara will assume the role of first lady when her father takes office, the family's spokesman said Tuesday.

Duterte's daughter, ''Inday Sara'' to her constituents, will shuttle between Davao and Manila to attend state functions and accompany her father on foreign trips, spokesman Peter Laviña told reporters.

''Even if she is city mayor of Davao, most of the roles of the First Lady will be ceremonial in nature... There is no compensation or renumeration for her role,'' Laviña said.

Sara's brother, Paolo, is her vice mayor. The siblings won by a landslide.

Sara famously shaved her head and led a bus tour across the country to convince her 71-year-old father to run for president.

Sara is Duterte's only daughter with former wife, Elizabeth Zimmerman. But she has a sister, 12-year-old Kitty, Duterte's child with common-law wife Honeylet Avancena.
