With the rise to power of the country's first president from San Beda College, "school power" has also slightly shifted from Katipunan to Mendiola, with the Cabinet how having more alumni from President Rodrigo Duterte's alma mater than in previous administrations.

Among the schoolmates he has brought into his official family are Justice Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre, Department of Transportation Secretary Arthur Tugade, Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea, and Department of Information and Communications Technology Secretary Rodolfo Salalima.

Here are 10 other famous people who have received education from this Roman Catholic school founded by the Benedictines.

1.) Maria Leonor G. Robredo

Lawyer, social activist, former Camarines Sur third district representative, and the current Vice President of the Philippines. After graduating with an Economics degree at the University of the Philippines, she obtained a law degree at University of Nueva Caceres in 1992. In 2013, she attended the Graduate School of Law at San Beda College. She has yet to return to the program after going on a leave of absence. Her political career began after the death of her husband, former DILG Secretary Jesse Robredo, in 2012 when his plane crashed along the Masbate coast.
