More than 6,000 passed the Nurse Licensure Examination given by the Board of Nursing in June 2016.

About 14,200 nursing graduates took the exams held in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.

Bernard John Ezra IV Rafols Icamen from the Cebu Normal University and Melissa Castor Malong of the De La Salle University-Health Sciences Institute topped the exams with a rating of 87.20%.

Here are the top 10 best performing nursing schools in the Philippines, based on the June 2016 nursing board exams.

Only schools that had 35 or more examinees and with at least 80% passing rate were included on this list by the PRC.
