Non-profit organization OpenTraffic on Tuesday shared interesting findings about traffic and road accidents in Metro Manila.

According to its website, OpenTraffic collects global traffic speed data by analyzing real-time or archived information from the GPS data of its contributors.

These data are pooled to a map of traffic jams in the world, which may be accessed online for free.

Here are the highlights of the 2015 OpenTraffic platform testing, as reported by ABS-CBN's Atom Araullo:

The average weekday travel speeds are 38 kilometers per hour (kph) in Metro Manila, 36 kph in Cebu City, and 31 kph in Davao.

Travels speeds in Singapore average 55 kph.
