As we celebrate the 30th anniversary of the EDSA People Power revolution, take a look at how EDSA has evolved and how the characters in that event have changed through the years.

Epifanio de los Santos Avenue, the road itself, has undergone major changes in its landscape in response to population growth and modernization. The highway is now dominated by an elevated railway. Once grassy portions where tanks were parked after being stopped by civilians during EDSA are now occupied by skyscrapers.

EDSA the uprising meant a change leadership - from Marcos to Cory to Ramos. Two more leaders--Arroyo and Estrada--took the helm, and now PNoy. The leaders have changed but can we say the same for the country?

So, here’s a look at "EDSA" then and now.
