MANILA -- For two-time Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo and his partner, Star Pop artist Chloe San Jose, attending their first ABS-CBN Ball together was a dream come true.

"Thanks so much to my Star Pop and ABS family for making it possible. It is so special to be walking together, mga first namin. It is always so special to do things and walk the red carpet of something so prestigious," San Jose said after walking the red carpet on Friday night at Solaire Resort North.

"Super overwhelming pa din. The experiences opportunities, and blessings, nagpapasalamat kami sa lahat ng sumuporta. Sobrang laki na opportunity," said Yulo, for his part.

Much like the title of this year’s event, the couple confirmed that they shine "brighter together."
