MANILA - The cat is out of the bag. Following a more than three-year relationship, John Lloyd Cruz and Angelica Panganiban have decided to call it quits, according to talent manager Ogie Diaz last Saturday.

Diaz, however, added that the two remain "good friends" and denied speculations that Cruz's "A Second Chance" co-star Bea Alonzo had a hand in the split.

Still, many were sad to learn that Cruz and Panganiban have parted ways given the many challenges the two already went through for and in defending their relationship.

Back in October 2012, Cruz first revealed in a "The Buzz" interview that Panganiban is already his girlfriend. His admission came a month after the two were spotted holding hands while leaving the 6th Star Magic Ball at the Makati Shangri-La Hotel.

Rumors that something romantic was blossoming between Cruz and Panganiban started after the two returned to the Philippines from Vietnam in April 2012 to shoot their scenes for the Star Magic movie "24/7 in Love."
