Her sister starred in a Metro Manila Film Festival entry that showcased the beauty of Siargao.

So it's no wonder Anne Curtis picked the island paradise as her getaway destination this post-Christmas.

On Friday, the "It's Showtime" host posted on Instagram a selfie of her soaking in the sun in a bikini with the caption: "Happy girl."

It followed several snaps of her catching waves (her first time since 2012, she pointed out) over the past few days with her husband, Erwan Heussaff, and sister-in-law Solenn Heussaff.

She also shared a gorgeous close-up shot of her freckles, which, she explained, her husband loves.

"My husband told me he loves it when it when my freckles come out because they make me look happy."

"Enjoying them before they disappear. Sadly, they go away after a few days out of the sun. Weird," she added.

Earlier this week, Curtis congratulated her sister, Jasmine Curtis-Smith, for winning the best supporting actress award in this year's MMFF for her role in Paul Soriano's "Siargao."

"I told you you were awesome in the film and everyone that’s seen it has told me so too. Very much deserved sestra. I love you and I am very very proud of you!" she gushed.
