MANILA – Jessy Mendiola is looking forward to going back to work in 2018.

“I just had a meeting with the bosses a few weeks ago. They are planning something. Sabi nila mag-work na daw ako ulit,” she told ABS-CBN News’ MJ Felipe in an interview.

Mendiola also shared why this development excites her.

“I am happy naman na 'yung meeting na ‘yun, meron pa silang plano para sa akin kasi for the longest time, akala ko wala na. Now, meron akong newfound hope and it looks like 2018 will really be exciting,” she said.

When asked if she could tease anything about her future projects, she said: “'Yung TV series I think they are making one na. Movies, meron akong isa pero hindi pa napu-push through kasi holidays na.”

Mendiola was one of the mainstays of the Sunday gag show “Banana Sundae” until she supposedly left the show in the July. Although she doesn’t regularly appear in any TV show, Mendiola performs on “ASAP” from time to time.

Her last movie project, on the other hand, was “Extra Service” with Arci Munoz and Coleen Garcia last January 2017.
