Kapuso star Mikee Quinto revealed that she and her boyfriend Paul Salas have decided to part ways after years of dating each other. The actress made this revelation during the April 1 episode of Boy Abunda’s show. 

Mikee and Paul publicly announced their relationship back in 2022 and celebrated their third anniversary last July 2024.

She confirmed their decision to separate but didn’t disclose the reason behind it. She maintained that it would be better if Paul was the one to explain why they broke up. 

“Honestly, before today, pinagiisipan kong mabuti kung magsasabi na ako sa public  o hindi–– mahirap for me. It’s a big jump. Yung feelings ko kinokontra yung iniintidi ko sa brain ko sa lahat. Hindi naman sa ayaw kong ishare, pero I think there’s a right time for it. Pagdaanan ko lang po muna,” she shared.

Mikee then assured that there is no third party involved in their decision to part ways. She added that it’s been a month since they talked about the breakup and claimed how it’s been clearer that it was the right decision for them.

“A month ago na yung nagstart kami magusap about this decision. Ngayon, nagiging clear sa amin na ito nga yung tama for us. Mutual naman na decision to,” she said.

The Kapuso star remained positive that if Paul is destined to be with her, her faith will make a way to make it happen. She insisted that it was the right decision and she has no regrets about it even if it was difficult for her.

“Kung kami, I know siya na yung maghahanap ng way ng mangyari yun–– si Lord. I won't try to control things, I just know na ito yung tamang decision now... Oo naman, I think more than expected pa. Wala akong regrets. Mahirap for me tong decision na 'to,” she added.

When asked about what she learned throughout all of these, she expressed how important it is to give love to yourself as well.

“I think what I learned about love is we attract the love we give ourselves. Kung gaano natin kamahal yung sarili natin, yun yung love na tinatanggap natin,” she said.

Mikee then addressed Paul and showed her gratitude for all the years they’ve been together.

“Paul thank you sa four years and alam mo naman. Nasabi ko na yung mga gusto kong sabihin. Maybe I wanna remind you lang na nasa sa'yo to make all this worth it,” she told Paul. 

Paul has yet to issue a statement as of this writing.
