She's basking in the success of her debut album.

But a couple of weeks before its release, Kisses Delavin was mulling whether to quit showbiz altogether after her love team with Marco Gallo was scrapped for reasons she has yet to open up about.

The teen, who finished runner-up on "Pinoy Big Brother: Lucky 7," talked about her decision stay in the limelight in an interview on "Tonight With Boy Abunda" on Wednesday.

She explained that she began to view the industry as a "business," shattering some notions she had about it when she dreamed of joining it, and that she felt she couldn't "express herself" without "hurting other people."

"I had that moment na parang, 'Ganito pala iyong showbiz?' I realized na business talaga siya. 'OK, it's not about what you feel or what's the situation, it's about business'," she said.

She added that she started to have these doubts after the fallout of her love team with Gallo, which was only confirmed last month.

However, after thinking things through, Delavin said: "I told myself, 'Why not I sacrifice a bit of myself and get out of my comfort zone and do this, continue what I'm doing? Because I love what I do and I love seeing people smile.' "

Delavin was on the late-night talk show to promote her self-titled debut album, which, according to her, bears the theme of love.
