David Foster told him that he could win the whole thing.

And true enough, Neil Rey Garcia Llanes is just one step away from doing just that after it was announced that he will perform at the grand finals of the second season of "Asia's Got Talent."

Llanes, along with Canion Shijirbat, a Golden Buzzer act during the audition round, were revealed on Thursday's episode as the first pair who will move past the ongoing semifinals.

Last week, Llanes had the judges with yet another beatboxing masterclass.

"You said that this is your medicine. It's the best medicine. It's unbelievable. I think people need to vote for you. You killed it," Foster told him afterwards.

Llanes will be relishing the chance to represent the country in the final round of the competition, especially after he had to drop out of Season 1 to finish his studies.

"I decided to drop the chance for the first season, finish first my studies, and audition again for the next season," he said in an interview with Sunstar Davao in 2015.

The other grand finalists will be revealed in the following weeks.
