MANILA - Former actress Paula Peralejo, the sister of actress Rica Peralejo, has given birth to a baby boy Tuesday morning, it was revealed on Instagram.

Paula shared a photo of her first child with husband Charlie Fernandez on her account. The couple named their newborn Pablo.

Hours after her post, Paula was congratulated by her older sister. "We used to pull each other's hair. Just because someone did not want to lend whatever to whoever. One day, we just grew up and loved each other as sisters who share the same history," Rica said.

She continued: "This morning, I share another thing with her. The bond of motherhood. Of knowing that this woman is not only an amazing sister, superb wife, but now, also a hero mom. She labored despite some minor issues and finally normally gave birth to a healthy baby boy. And also, to a new woman inside of her. That of a mom who will do everything to give the best for her baby."

"I tear up as I write this. Love my sister very much and I am so so proud of her. Pablo is a blessed baby to be given a momma like you," Rica concluded.

Paula first announced her pregnancy back in March, the same time Rica announced hers. Rica, however, learned that she had suffered a miscarriage a few weeks later.
