Small piece of advice from "Seven Sundays" star Ronaldo Valdez: Parents should never be afraid to admit a mistake.

On Wednesday's "Tonight With Boy Abunda," the veteran actor opened up about a past fight he had with son Janno Gibbs sharing that it was one of those instances when he had to apologize for being in the wrong.

Acknowledging that he doesn't recall the exact reason why they butted heads, Valdez shared: "He was younger then --I was younger then. I don't remember what it was pero nagkabangayan talaga kami."

He continued by saying that he quickly realized that he was just being stubborn. "Sabi ko nga ay just because you're older doesn't mean you're wiser. And just because you're a parent doesn't mean you're always right," he explained.

Valdez was on the late-night talk show to promote his film, which has so far made P100 million in ticket sales after a week in cinemas.

In "Seven Sundays," he plays Manuel, a widower who tells his kids that he only has seven weeks to live as he tries to mend his relationship with them following the death of his wife.

It also stars Aga Muhlach, Dingdong Dantes, Enrique Gil, and Cristine Reyes. It is directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina.
