Santos and Manzano both won at the ALTA Media Icon Awards, and Mendiola let fans know how proud she is of them.

Santos was named Most Influential Film Actress of the Year, while Manzano bagged an award for Best Game Show Host.

In previous interviews, Santos has voiced her approval of Mendiola, describing Mendiola as "very nice" and as someone who doesn't feel the need to upstage her son.
Manzano and Mendiola have been a couple for more than year, and the two have repeatedly said in interviews that they would often talk to each other about settling down.
