MANILA - "Pinoy Big Brother: Lucky 7" awarded Maymay Entrata the title of Miss Photogenic at the first ever Miss Teen Big Brother 2016 pageant, after receiving more than two million votes in a Facebook poll -- the most among the five candidates.

Entrata, known for her cheerful demeanor, was also named Miss Congeniality as voted by her fellow contestants. Other special awards handed out ahead of the announcement of the pageant's winner on Sunday include Best in Long Gown (Stephanie Vaz), Best in Sportswear (Kisses Delavin), and Best in Talent (Vivoree Esclito).

The reality show kicked off its in-house beauty contest on Saturday, following a week-long preparation. Testing the determination and the belief of the female housemates in themselves, Big Brother had them compete against Brazilian models --Vaz and Maria Fabiana-- for the challenge.

At stake is the housemates' budget for additional food and other supplies in the coming week and a chance at immunity from eviction. Should the Brazilian models win, they would have to choose who among the remaining housemates will be safe for at least another week.

In an earlier episode, Entrata broke down in tears after seeing the result of her first ever professional photoshoot. According to her, it reminded her of her late grandfather, who incessantly believed that she has both the face and the height needed in order to be successful in beauty pageants.

"Sabi niya kasi mataas daw ako tapos alam niya daw na kayang kaya ko iyon. Ganoon po siya, gusto niyang makita na may sash din ako," shared Entrata, who admittedly has her insecurities about her looks and figure.

"May potential daw ako. Tapos parati niyang sinasabi, 'Huwag na huwag mong pakita iyang gums mo kasi malaki. Kasi maganda ka kapag hindi [b]ungisngis," she explained.
