MANILA - Filipina singer Rachelle Anne Go will make her Broadway debut as she joins the U.S. cast of Miss Saigon, according to Broadwayworld.com.

A link to the report was shared by Broadway veteran and former “Miss Saigon” star Lea Salonga on Twitter early morning on Friday.

Go currently plays Fantine in the West End original production of "Les Miserables."

She will reprise her character of bar girl Gigi from her West End performance in the Broadway revival.

Performances for the Broadway revival will begin on March 1, 2017 at the Broadway Theatre. Opening night will be on March 23, 2017.

"Miss Saigon" on Broadway will run a limited engagement until January 14, 2018.

Other actors who will join the Broadway cast are West End's Jon Jon Briones and Eva Noblezada, who will reprise their characters The Engineer and Kim, respectively, and Devin Ilaw (Les Miserables, M. Butterfly), who will play Thuy.
