MANILA - Real-life sweethearts Tommy Esguerra and Miho Nishida admitted that they felt nervous doing their first on-screen kiss for an episode of "Ipaglaban Mo."

On Wednesday, the show revealed a teaser of Esguerra and Nishida's first kissing scene.

"Kinabahan po kami kasi first time namin sa TV. So paano kaya ang magiging itsura? Tapos nakita namin kanina," Nishida said.

(We got nervous because it's our first time to do it on TV. We thought, what will it look like? Finally, we were able to watch it.)

Esguerra, for his part, said: "She looks beautiful on the kissing scene. I don't like how I look. But we are super excited to have it, that's our first kissing scene. Hopefully, our fans will really love it."

Nishida and Esguerra, known to their fans as the ToMiho love team star on the latest episode of "Ipaglaban Mo" to be aired this Saturday after "It's Showtime."

Titled "Sanggol" (Baby), the episode directed by Cathy Camarillo tells the story of a woman who is fighting for her child's rights.

Nishida and Esguerra will also be part of the upcoming series "Langit Lupa."
