Nicolas, a 20-year-old from Tondo, wowed judge Yeng Constantino with his rendition of Shamrock's "Alipin" which showcased his thick and deep voice.

Korean pop star Sandara Park said she would give Nicolas another chance but comedian Vice Ganda gave a thumbs down, saying the contest has been accepting good-looking contestants with fair singing prowess who could do better.
