It appears Filipinos have a new weekend habit.

"I Can See Your Voice," a quirky new show that dares celebrities to judge singing talent based on looks, pulled in more than double the viewers than that of its rival show, "Celebrity Bluff," last Saturday.

Under Kantar Media's measurement, the episode featuring Gary Valenciano scored 19.5% as opposed to the 9.6% of "Celebrity Bluff."

It signaled a successful debut for ABS-CBN's "I Can See Your Voice," which is the localized version of the Korean show of the same name.

The Luis Manzano-hosted game show had Kapamilya stars guess who among a pool of six people claiming to be singers is the real deal.

The premiere saw Valenciano guess correctly, while the second (which had a rating of 15.3%) had Alcasid perform a duet with a tone-deaf man who works as a messenger.

"I Can See Your Voice" airs Saturdays after "Maalaala Mo Kaya" and Sundays after "Rated K."
