MANILA -- Sexy star Ellen Adarna is the newest leading lady of comedian Empoy Marquez in an upcoming movie with ABS-CBN's Star Cinema.

On Monday, Marquez confirmed the news as he renewed his exclusive contract with Star Cinema.

But apart from the casting, the "Kita Kita" star didn't provide any other details about the movie. "Hanggang ngayon po ang movie ay nire-revise pa po, abangan na lang po," he said.

Asked why Adarna was chosen, Marquez jokingly said: "For a change."

Marquez, who has been very busy since the release of "Kita Kita" with Alessandre de Rossi, vowed to continue making people happy.

"Sobrang blessed po ang nararamdanan ko ngayon. Nagpapasalamat ako kay God kasi sa kanya galing po lahat ito. Iko-contnue ko lang ang nasimulan ni Tito Dolphy na magpasaya ng tao," he said.

If given a chance, Marquez said he would like to work with his idols Vice Ganda, Vhong Navarro, Joey de Leon and Vic Sotto.
