MANILA - More than two weeks after insinuating that Andi Eigenmann is a "sham," actor Jake Ejercito has posted a photo of the actress' daughter, Ellie, on his Instagram account.

"There's a million memories I hope you won't forget," he wrote as the caption to a black and white photo of Ellie sleeping, which has since garnered thousands of likes from his followers.

Eigenmann once considered Ejercito as a "father figure" to Ellie. "Si Jake 'yung nandiyan since the beginning and he loves my daughter like his own, and so he's the father," the actress said after being prodded to reveal the identity of Ellie's biological father.

But that was before Eigenmann got into a heated exchange with her former boyfriend on Twitter, and claimed that she "never" needed him for anything.

"Mr. Jake Ejercito, I never needed you in my life for anything. More so, to promote a film that I am part of. I answer questions about my past, and my feelings because I am merely asked. Why is it wrong to answer based on my feelings?"

Eigenmann is one of the stars of the romantic drama "Camp Sawi," which is about the story of five women struggling to move on from their past relationships. Ejercito accused Eigenmann of purposely dragging his name to promote the Viva Films movie.

"Yung pelikula namin title pa lang alam mo na kung tungkol saan. Malamang sa lahat ng interview ang unang tanong sa aming lima ay tungkol sa mga panahon na lahat kami ay nakaranas ng pagkasawi. #CampSawi nga eh," Eigenmann explained.

It prompted a reply from Ejercito, which read: "And when the entire story and the truth come out, you'll thank me for exposing and ridding the world of another fake. But till then [peace sign]."

Eigenmann, who is currently in London, has yet to react to Ejercito's newest post.
