MANILA -- Rita Gabiola, popularly known as 'Badjao Girl,' was in tears after getting nominated for eviction this week.

The 12-year-old, who had a couple of breakdowns inside the "Pinoy Big Brother" house, was nominated due to her supposed immaturity and lack of cooperation in their recent task.

Gabiola said she feels bad about her housemates' decision to nominate her for eviction.

"Sobrang sakit, hindi ko po alam kung bakit na-nominate ako (I feel hurt. I don’t know why they nominated me)," she told Big Brother.

"Pero tanggap ko naman na po iyon (But I have come to accept it)," she added.

Despite this, Gabiola said she will strive harder to prove her worth in "PBB." This, she said, is her vow to her parents before she left them in Quezon Province.

"Nag-promise po ako sa Nanay at Tatay ko na gagalingan ko po. Kapag may laban po, lalaban po. Kahit mahirap, gagawin ko, mabigyan ko lang po ng magandang buhay ang mga magulang ko," she said.

(I promised my mother and my father that I will do well. If there is a fighting chance, I will fight. Even if it’s hard, I will persevere in order to provide my family a better life.)

The other housemates who were nominated for eviction were Christian Morones, Heaven Peralejo and Kristine Hammond.
