MANILA -- Actress Andie Eigenmann revealed Tuesday that everything is okay now between him and former boyfriend Jake Ejercito when it comes to their five-year-old daughter, Ellie.

"Everything is all okay now. Jake and I we share Ellie. Sharing is caring," Eigenmann said in an interview with ABS-CBN News and Cinema One at the press conference of Eigenmann's grandfather Eddie Mesa.

Eigenmann stressed that as a mother, she's only after the best interest of her child.

"He has the time that he needs to have with my daughter as well. It is something that I want and agreed on because I think that's the best for my daughter. I want her to feel complete as a human and having her father there beside her is a part of it," Eigenmann said.

"And Jake naman, kahit ano pa 'yung misunderstanding namin, kahit na 'di kami nagkakasundo or kung ano man 'yan, when it comes to Ellie alam kong mahal na mahal niya ang anak namin so 'yun lang ang important sa akin. The issue of the two of us I'm willing to set all of the aside just for what's best for my daughter," she added.

Last April, Ejercito filed for joint custody of his daughter.

Ejercito said it would be much easier for them because they would have a fixed schedule on when they could spend time with Ellie.
