MANILA – Amid speculations that Kris Aquino is leaving ABS-CBN to transfer to another network, the TV host took to Instagram to appeal to her followers to respect her decision.

On Saturday, Aquino posted a photo of her having some “me time.”

My family understood I needed some time to reflect and just be on my own... You all have a right to your opinions regarding decisions I've made & continue to make because you are all stakeholders in my career, and I need you... But I've also been praying that you will reciprocate the respect I've tried my best to consistently give you by being a dedicated & passionate professional. ❤️❤️❤️

In the caption, Aquino wrote: “My family understood I needed some time to reflect and just be on my own.”

At the same time, she acknowledged that her supporters are “stakeholders” in her career and that she needs them.

Without confirming reports that she will leave ABS-CBN, Aquino said she is praying that her fans “reciprocate the respect I've tried my best to consistently give you by being a dedicated & passionate professional.”

In another post on the same day, Aquino checked in at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport and hinted that she is about to go on a solo trip.

Her post carried a quote which reads, “Never miss a good chance to shut up.”

Agreeing with it, Aquino wrote: “I can & I will... Let me shock you with my silence.

Last March, Aquino decided to temporarily leave showbiz to prioritize her health and family. Prior to that, she has become a regular fixture on ABS-CBN for 22 years.
