Maja Salvador and John Lloyd Cruz are just friends, no matter how fans want look at their playful photo in which they recreated the promotional poster for the lighthearted romantic film, "How To Be Yours."

"Dating? Kung dating iyon, hindi sila magpo-post especially si John Lloyd. At kasama kami last night, marami kami. Iyon lang 'yung tulong nila sa kaibigan nila si Bea," said Neneth Rustia, the Star Magic handler of both Salvador and Cruz, in a text message aired on "Tonight with Boy Abunda."

Salvador surprised many Wednesday evening when she revealed on Instagram that she went on a date with Cruz to watch the newest film of their friend, Bea Alonzo. All three worked on the cult classic, "One More Chance."

Many of her fans hastily assumed that a romance might be brewing between her and Cruz. Others, however, were spot on when they said that the two were just supporting Alonzo's film.
