MANILA — In the same vlog where she introduced her boyfriend for the first time, former “Pinoy Big Brother” housemate Jinri Park also announced their engagement.

Park shared the milestone with her followers on Tuesday, with a vlog entry titled, “I’m engaged!”

As a way of introducing her fiancé, John, Park interviewed him on a range of topics, including how they met, and when he realized he was attracted to her romantically.

The two are later seen in the video enjoying tourist attractions in Sydney, where they first met, before ending the trip with a glimpse of the engagement ring.

Sharing a closer look at the sapphire ring on Instagram, Park wrote: “Thank you to everyone who sent their blessings to me and John! I’ve realized that the generic phrase ‘You just know’ when you ask couples how did you know he’s the one? Is so true.

“Everything just seems right and you have absolutely no doubt. That’s when you know he’s the one. The universe will make it happen in the most unexpected time and place.”

John is Filipino by blood but is an Australian citizen and Park teased her fiancé about his inability to speak fluent Filipino.

“I make fun of him for that! I’m better in Filipino than you!” she said.

Turning serious, the South Korean TV host added: “I’m grateful I found a Filipino guy because I can always have a part of the Philippines, a place I called home with me in my heart. Excited for this next chapter of my life.”
