MANILA – Veteran actor Dick Israel turned emotional as help continues to pour in from his friends and colleagues within and outside showbiz.

Speaking on DZMM on Wednesday, Israel said he is “terribly elated” that a lot of people have expressed their willingness to help him after a fire razed his house in Caloocan City last Saturday.

According to Israel, he is currently staying at a hotel with his wife and children. Among the things which he badly needs is a pair of eyeglass because he lost his old one to the fire.
