MANILA - "I admire him even more now," admitted actress Bea Alonzo when asked about her current working relationship with former boyfriend, "How To Be Yours" co-star Gerald Anderson.

"Ang weird ko kasi everytime na magkasama kami ay tawa lang kami ng tawa. Ginagawa naming joke iyong pinagsamahan namin way before," added Alonzo, who had a short-lived romance with Anderson six years back.

Anderson, for his part, recalled the time he harbored a crush on the actress as a reply to questions about the possibility of them getting back together.

"Naalala ko before na bumili pa ako ng notebook na siya ang cover at pina-frame ko pa iyon," he shared. "Step by step iyan and we are just having fun. Huwag na bigyan ng pressure. Kapag nandiyan siya ay sobra ang saya ko at iyon naman ang importante."

The two were speaking to reporters after a pictorial for "How To Be Yours," an upcoming light-hearted romance film directed by Dan Villegas ("Walang Forever").

It tells the story of two people, an aspiring chef named Anj and a sales agent named Niño, whose love story will be tested by the allure of their own ambitions and dreams, according to producer Star Cinema.

A teaser for the film was shown during the premiere screening of "The Achy Breaky Heart," Star Cinema's newest offering starring Jodi Sta. Maria, Ian Veneracion, and Richard Yap.

"How To Be Yours" is the first time Alonzo and Anderson will headline a film.
