"Iron Fist" star Jessica Henwick has cancelled her appearance at this year's AsiaPOP Comicon Manila, it was announced this Friday.

The actress pulled out of the pop culture event "due to unforeseen circumstances," according to organizers.

They added: "Jessica is sad at having to disappoint her Filipino fans this year and thanks them for their support."

Refunds will be handed out to those who bought meet and greet, autograph, and photo tickets with Henwick.

AsiaPOP Comicon Manila did not immediately reveal a replacement guest, but promised a "big announcement" later next week.

Henwick plays Colleen Wing in "Iron Fist," a collaboration between Marvel Studios and Netflix.

Her co-star, Finn Jones, is still scheduled to push through with his appearance at AsiaPOP Comicon Manila.
