You rarely hear singers say that they're glad their voice cracked while performing. But that's just what Jake Zyrus, formerly Charice, said when he tried singing Justin Bieber's "Despacito" during an interview with ABS-CBN News' MJ Felipe.

"This is the only time na masaya ako na pumiyok ako," he said, acknowledging the changes in his voice as he begins taking testosterone-hormone therapy. "Kasi hindi ba before, 'Uy, huwag kang pumiyok!' Pero ngayon, 'Oy, pumipiyok tayo! Magandang balita ito!'"
