MANILA -- Isabela Vinzon of “The Voice Teens Philippines” has collaborated with Asian singer and actor, Alvin Chong, for a pop-dance track which showcases her versatility as a singer.

Titled “We Got This,” the song is Vinzon’s second single under MCA Music.

“[I was] overwhelmed! I never expected to have that kind of blessing. [I am] thankful to my fans and I hope they continue to be part of my journey,” she said of being able to work with a foreign artist.

Chong had the chance to visit Manila for the recording of the song and its music video, and he has nothing but good words about his experience working with Vinzon.

“Manila trip was great. People there are really friendly but I still couldn’t digest the traffic condition,” he said laughing. “Isabela is very shy at first. We don’t know what to talk [about] or how to start a conversation. It took us a while to break the ice.”

“We Got This” offers a fresh and relaxed sound that one can dance and sing along to.

As of writing, both Vinzon and Chong are busy promoting their new song in the Philippines and Malaysia, respectively.

Vinzon is a regular performer on “ASAP” and is currently part of the top-rating series “Ang Probinsiyano” as a guest actress.

Chong, on the other hand, is currently part of the special edition of Malaysia’s local drama “Awak Suka Saya Tak Raya.” He also hosts the Malaysian adaptation of “I Can See Your Voice.”
